The town of Bridal Veil was a bustling lumber town back in the day, but there is not much left now. The primary draw is its namesake waterfall.

The hike down from the parking area is less than a half-mile, but it is a bit steep.

The bridge at the bottom crosses over a tranquil, tree-shaded section.

The only real amenity is the post office which survives due to the thousands of wives each year that have their wedding invitations postmarked by this one-room postal hold-out.

The old highway is so picturesque in this area.

Multnomah Falls, a stunning cascade and one of Oregon's main landmarks, is located right outside of Bridal Veil.
